Long Son Pagoda is over 120 years old and stands as one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam that still retains its original architecture. The most notable feature of the pagoda is the outdoor Buddha statue of Thich Ca, which is the largest of its kind in Vietnam. This statue was erected in 1940 and is positioned on a hill behind the main worship hall.

The final stage of the 193-step journey will reveal a gigantic white Buddha statue. This statue represents Buddha Thich Ca Mau Ni preaching and was completed in 1965. It is massive, standing at a total height of 24m.
